This cake is based on a classical Japanese Strawberry Shortcake recipe layered with tender biscuits, fresh strawberries and fresh cream.
Strawberry Shortcakes became popular about 100 years ago during the Taisho period (1912-1926) and it is still one of the most popular cakes in Japan. It is a common cake for birthdays and Christmas but also enjoyed daily.
To place an order, please go to the "Order" page on our website. You will find 2 options: 16cm and 18cm diameter. The S-size (16cm) is suitable for 4-6 people and the L-size (18cm) for 6-8 people.
